Welcome to Mad River Educational Services! I am Dr. William Ritke-Jones, and I’ve established MRES to meet a wide range of educational and developmental needs for non-profits, green/socially responsible businesses, and individuals. I’m strongly committed to helping business and non-profits in Vermont that are involved somehow in food, the environment, green energy, labor, progressive politics, and social issues. While I do need to make a living, as we all do, my focus is on fulfilling needs rather than satisfying greed because I want my life to be measured by the depth and breadth of my service to my community, not by how much money I've made or how much I've acquired. Note, then, that bartering and scholarships are available on a limited basis and that my fees are pretty low, comparatively speaking.

• Helping organizations engaged in transitions or who wish to foster a more collaborative and democratic organizational culture;
• Training teams to be highly effective and assisting poorly functioning teams;
• Designing, establishing and facilitating online learning communities ;
• Developing e-learning solutions;
• Training distance educators to design, develop and facilitate learner-centered educational environments focused on community and collaborative learning;
• Online tutoring for professional and academic writers, including grant writers;
• Conducting quantitative and qualitative research;
• Professional writing, especially grant writing.
